Does it modify my original images?

It depends on the features you use. By default, Xray creates optimized WebP versions while keeping your original JPG/PNG files intact as a backup. However, if you enable the Native Watermarking or Auto-Crop features, the original images will be modified directly to apply your changes.

Do I need to configure NGINX or Apache?

No server-level configuration is strictly required. Xray includes a built-in WebP Delivery Engine that dynamically serves WebP images automatically. However, for maximum performance, you can optionally add standard NGINX/Apache rewrite rules.
