External services

This plugin makes no external API calls. All scripts, styles, and fonts are bundled with the plugin — nothing is loaded from a CDN, and no data is sent anywhere.

The WP Travel Kit admin screens include optional documentation, tutorial, and support links to wptravelkit.com, and a link to the WP Travel Kit Facebook group. These are ordinary links that an administrator can choose to click. Nothing is requested or sent unless a link is opened.

Privacy

TravelKit Trip Comparison stores anonymous comparison events in your WordPress database (event type, trip IDs, and a coarse device class: mobile/desktop). No names, emails, IP addresses, or cookies are stored with these events, and nothing is sent to WP Travel Kit or any other third party.

Rate limiting stores a short-lived hash of the visitor’s IP address in a transient. It is never written to the events table and expires automatically.

Events older than 24 months are deleted automatically. Uninstalling the plugin drops the events table.
