External services

Selloway writes its replies using artificial intelligence, and that cannot run inside WordPress on your own hosting. So the plugin sends what it needs to the Selloway service (api.selloway.com), operated by Selloway, and shows you the answer that comes back.

This is the only outside service the plugin uses. Nothing is sent anywhere else.

Here is exactly what leaves your site, and when:

• When you activate or connect your store (you press the button): your licence key, your site address, your admin email, and the version numbers of the plugin, WordPress and WooCommerce — so the service knows which store it is talking to.
• When you sync products (you press the button): each product’s name, price, description and link, plus the greeting, selling points and Add-to-cart message you wrote — so the assistant can answer questions about that product.
• When a visitor chats (the visitor types): what the visitor writes, which product page they are on, and an identifier for the conversation — so a reply can be generated and sent back.

Nothing is sent while a visitor is only browsing. Nothing is sent to any other company.
