Section Collection only stores personal data when a visitor submits a form built with one of its sections (for example the Newsletter section). When that happens the plugin stores the email address, an optional name, a consent flag, the page the form was on, the date, and an internal id of the form block. IP addresses are never stored (the rate limiter only keeps a short-lived hashed value). The data stays in your own site database (table bpsc_entries) and is never sent to any third party by the plugin. If you turn on the Newsletter section option “Email me when someone subscribes”, the subscriber email, name and page are emailed to the recipient you choose (the site admin by default) through your site mail setup. If you set the Newsletter section to an external provider (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Brevo, MailerLite and similar), the visitor submits the form directly to the provider address you configure, so the data goes to that provider under its own privacy policy and Section Collection stores nothing. Submissions can be viewed, exported and deleted under Section Collection > Newsletters (the menu appears while the Newsletter section is enabled on the Blocks page; with several form sections it is called Submissions), and they are included in WordPress Tools > Export Personal Data and Tools > Erase Personal Data. Stored submissions are kept when the plugin is deleted unless you enable “Delete all submissions when the plugin is deleted” on that page.
