    Our core unsubscribe model is functional and works well, maybe a little too well. It unsubscribes the contact without giving you a chance to persuade them otherwise. What our Email Preference Center does, is give you that chance – it lets the contact unsubscribe from lists individually. Clever use of list naming here could well retain the contact. I mean, would you unsubscribe from a list called ‘Free Coupons & Vouchers’?

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/saxon-email-marketing-center’ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
  3. Open Saxon Email Marketing Center in the WordPress admin area.
  4. Configure your branding, sender settings and newsletter forms.
  5. Create contacts, lists, templates and campaigns.

Third-party services

Cloudflare Turnstile

Saxon Email Marketing Center can optionally use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect newsletter forms from spam. This feature is disabled by default.

If the site administrator enables Cloudflare Turnstile in Saxon Email Marketing Center Settings, enters a Cloudflare Turnstile Site Key and Secret Key, and enables Turnstile on an individual newsletter form, the plugin loads Cloudflare’s Turnstile JavaScript from https://challenges.cloudflare.com/turnstile/v0/api.js in the visitor’s browser. When the form is submitted, the Turnstile response token is sent from your WordPress site to Cloudflare’s verification endpoint at https://challenges.cloudflare.com/turnstile/v0/siteverify to confirm whether the Turnstile challenge was passed.

A Cloudflare Turnstile account/key pair is required to use this optional feature.

They control how many emails can be sent in a campaign, how many can be sent over a 24-hour period, and when Saxon Email Marketing Center asks for extra confirmation before a larger send. Your limits increase automatically as your number of successful sends grows. You do not need to apply, upgrade, or contact support to progress. Simply keep sending responsibly, use good quality contact lists, and build a strong track record over time to increase your daily limit to the max allowed. If a campaign reaches a daily limit, Saxon Email Marketing Center will pause sending and resume automatically when capacity becomes available again (the following day).

Does the plugin include newsletter signup forms?
Yes. Saxon Email Marketing Center includes newsletter signup form functionality to help you collect subscribers directly from your WordPress site. You can generate multiple forms and use them wherever you like using shortcodes.

What subscriber and compliance tools are included?
Saxon Email Marketing Center includes features such as unsubscribe support, consent recording, suppression management, subscription status handling and contact activity history to help you maintain clearer subscriber records and workflows.

Does Saxon Email Marketing Center support contact and list management?

Does the plugin require an external email service?
Saxon Email Marketing Center works within your WordPress environment and will use the WordPress built-in wp_mail() functionality out-of-the-box. We do recommend however, that you configure and use your own SMTP settings – especially if you are intending to send larger campaigns.
