External services

This plugin connects to the RankMeRabbit SEO platform, an external service operated by Yogi Network, to receive the SEO fixes it applies to your site and to power its dashboard features. A RankMeRabbit account is required for the plugin to function.

What the plugin sends and when:

  • When you connect your site: your site domain and the connection keys (Status Key and Action Key) you copy from your RankMeRabbit dashboard are sent to https://api.rankmerabbit.com to verify the connection.
  • On a recurring sync (about every five minutes) and on manual sync: your site identifier and connection keys are sent to https://api.rankmerabbit.com to retrieve the latest prepared fixes (titles, headings, alt text, schema, internal links) so the plugin can apply them to your content.
  • When you use the built-in AI assistant: the message you type, along with your site domain and site identifier, is sent to https://api.rankmerabbit.com/api/plugin/chat to generate a response.

The plugin does not crawl your site itself; site crawling and analysis are performed by the RankMeRabbit platform. No content is sent to any third party other than the RankMeRabbit platform described above.
