Select supported WordPress text directly on the page with the compact Presslyte toolbar.
Presslyte is a front-end text editor for your existing WordPress website. Select highlighted wording where it appears, make a simple change, preview and save. Refresh the page to see your saved result.
Correct a sentence, update business hours or improve a heading without hunting through the dashboard for the supported text.
Presslyte Free works without a Presslyte account or license key. There is no editing quota. Your WordPress permissions control who can edit.
Presslyte highlights text only when it can verify the saved native WordPress source. Choose a highlighted paragraph, heading or list item to begin. Page structure, forms, dynamic output, code and existing link destinations stay protected.
Use a compatible theme and supported native WordPress blocks. Preview your wording and check the saved page; longer text can naturally change wrapping and page height.
Editing and the built-in introduction do not require external services. Presslyte stores local editor preferences, recovery drafts, saved versions and editor attribution. WordPress privacy export and erasure tools are supported; erasure anonymizes attribution while preserving shared page content and recovery history.
The Learn area opens written guides at https://presslyte.com/product-updates/ and video tutorials at https://presslyte.com/tutorials/ only when selected. Presslyte does not fetch a learning feed, load remote lesson thumbnails or schedule lesson updates. See https://presslyte.com/privacy/ for the destination privacy policy.
Optional testing feedback is disabled by default. When an administrator enables it, sending the feedback form uses the site’s WordPress mail service to send the entered message, plugin version and optional reply email to [email protected]. Sending requires an explicit user action.
Deactivation retains content and recovery records. Deleting the plugin retains settings and recovery history by default. The explicit erase-on-uninstall setting removes Free editor settings and recovery history while leaving published page content and stored mapped text intact.
