MWD AI Assistant Core works independently with your own OpenAI API account. No MWD account, license, commercial SDK or paid feature implementation is required or included. The optional Upgrade page describes separate products and fetches public prices only after an administrator explicitly clicks.

  • Appearance, labels, dimensions, language and RTL controls; inherited website fonts.

All included functionality is available without payment to MWD. Provider API usage is billed separately to your own provider account. Safety limits are administrator-configured controls, with no paid unlock. No external fonts, tracking or marketing calls run during ordinary bootstrap.

Freemius public prices (optional Upgrade page)

Only clicking View current standalone Pro prices sends a server-side GET to https://api.freemius.com/v1/plugins/38266/pricing.json for published prices. It uses the product public key, not a customer secret. No site account, API key, conversation, email address or license is sent. Freemius receives server IP, product/version and request metadata. Core does not create an account or contact licensing services on bootstrap. Selecting an offer opens https://checkout.freemius.com; a separate checkout confirms the purchase, taxes and renewal terms. No automatic purchase, paid-code download or license activation occurs in Core.

Existing standalone Pro 3.x is incompatible with Core 2.x; the page explicitly discloses this before showing prices. Future compatible add-ons are not included or claimed to be available. Existing license owners should retain their license and verify compatibility rather than buy again.

OpenAI

Saving your own key and enabling the assistant authorizes provider requests when visitors send messages. Clicking Test saved provider connection deliberately sends a small test request. The only provider destination in Core is https://api.openai.com/v1/responses. Redirects are disabled.

Chat sends public business instructions, up to five relevant public reference excerpts, up to twelve bounded recent messages, the current visitor message and schemas/results of authorized registered tools. Only the free approved-public-link tool ships in Core. Common email, North American phone and Canadian postal identifiers are masked in visitor/general history text; this is not complete anonymization. Approved manual facts are public by design. Never put secrets in instructions, knowledge or chat.

The API key authenticates server-side and is not included in browser config, HTML, diagnostic exports or model instructions. Requests set store=false; this does not eliminate separate provider abuse-monitoring or other applicable retention. The site operator controls the provider account, billing, applicable consent and privacy notice. A ChatGPT subscription does not include API credits. Model access must be tested with the operator’s account.

Maple Web Design support

Only explicit submission of the administrator support form sends an email through WordPress mail to [email protected]. The consent text discloses reply email, site URL, WordPress/Core versions, subject and message. Ordinary chat does not contact Maple Web Design. Documentation is bundled locally; external product links open only when clicked.
