Dashboard overview with media usage stats and reclaimable storage.
Over time, every WordPress website accumulates media files that are no longer used. These unused files take up storage, clutter your media library, and make backups larger than they need to be.
MGCora Unused Media Finder helps you identify unused media of every type (images, video, audio, PDFs, and other documents) by scanning your website and checking where each file is referenced. Instead of deleting files blindly, it analyzes your content and presents clear results so you can review them before taking action.
Designed with safety in mind, MGCora Unused Media Finder helps you clean your media library confidently without risking important files.
Whether you manage a personal blog, business website, online store, or agency portfolio, MGCora Unused Media Finder makes media management simple and reliable.
MGCora Unused Media Finder never assumes a file is safe to delete without checking where it is being used. Every scan is designed to minimize false positives by verifying media references before a file is marked as unused. You stay in complete control and can review the results before deleting anything.
The admin interface (build/index.js) is a compiled JavaScript bundle built with @wordpress/scripts. Its human-readable source ships with the plugin in the src/ directory, and assets/css/admin.css is compiled from assets/css/admin.scss. To rebuild both from source, run npm install followed by npm run build (see package.json for the exact build scripts).
MGCora Unused Media Finder runs entirely on your own server. It does not make any external HTTP requests, does not collect or transmit any data, and does not “phone home.” All scan data is stored in your site’s own database and is removed when you uninstall the plugin.
