HoverPrice Converter for WooCommerce helps online stores welcome international shoppers by displaying product prices in currencies they understand. Instead of forcing every visitor to mentally calculate exchange rates, the plugin adds a modern hover or tap price conversion card to WooCommerce prices so customers can quickly compare the store base price with enabled display currencies.
The free/core plugin is built as a genuine standalone WooCommerce currency display tool. It includes practical, working essentials for store owners: a currency manager, exchange-rate settings, gateway-aware currency mapping, hover price cards, shortcodes, basic caching, clean admin screens, and clear store-owner controls. It does not include hidden Pro modules, license gates, trials, quotas, artificial usage limits, or disabled built-in features.
HoverPrice Converter respects your WooCommerce base currency and does not permanently overwrite product prices. Store owners can keep currencies as view-only, make supported currencies available for checkout, and map currencies to payment gateways where appropriate. This gives international visitors a clearer browsing experience while helping merchants keep checkout behavior predictable.

HoverPrice Converter Pro is distributed as a separate plugin. The WordPress.org free/core plugin remains fully functional with all features included in this package available without a license key, trial, quota, or artificial restriction.

External exchange-rate services are used only when a store administrator enables automatic exchange-rate updates, selects a provider, and saves the provider settings or manually triggers a rate refresh. The plugin does not send customer names, customer email addresses, billing or shipping addresses, order line items, cart contents, payment details, or WordPress user data to exchange-rate providers.
When automatic rates are used, the plugin sends only the minimum information needed to retrieve currency rates: the store base currency code, requested target currency codes, and the API key entered by the administrator where the selected provider requires one. These requests are made from the store’s WordPress server during scheduled or manual rate updates, not from the shopper’s browser.
Supported exchange-rate services are documented below so store owners can review the provider terms and privacy policies before enabling a provider.
Manual rates and manual JSON import can be used without connecting to a live exchange-rate provider.
HoverPrice Converter for WooCommerce ships human-readable source files directly in the plugin package. The JavaScript and CSS files under admin/assets/ and public/assets/ are the editable source files used by WordPress at runtime. No npm, webpack, transpiler, minifier, or separate build process is required to regenerate these assets.
Third-party runtime JavaScript libraries are not bundled by this plugin. The frontend script depends on the copy of jQuery registered by WordPress.
