FormTrail Inbox

FormTrail Inbox is a zero external cost WordPress plugin for small teams that receive business inquiries through Contact Form 7.

The free MVP stores form submissions inside the site’s own WordPress database and does not call AI models, paid APIs, or an external backend.

Current free features:

• Capture successful Contact Form 7 submissions.
• Normalize common lead fields such as name, email, phone, company, message, source URL, and UTM source.
• Apply local default rules for score, tags, and status.
• Add basic custom local rules.
• Review leads in a WordPress admin inbox.
• Search, filter, sort, paginate, and bulk update lead status.
• View lead details, source metadata, submitted fields, timeline events, and internal notes.
• Manually update lead tags.
• Delete leads and related notes/events.
• Export selected or filtered leads to CSV.
• Configure privacy settings for IP address and User Agent recording.
• Optionally send local WordPress email notifications for captured leads.
• Configure data retention cleanup.
• Preserve stored leads by default when the plugin is deleted, with an opt-in full cleanup setting.

安装方式:

1. 将 formtrail-inbox 文件夹上传到 /wp-content/plugins/.
2. 在 WordPress 插件页面启用 FormTrail Inbox.
3. 确认 Contact Form 7 已安装并启用.
4. 在 WordPress 后台打开 Lead Inbox 菜单.

常见问题:

这个插件会调用 AI 模型吗?

不会. 当前免费版本只使用本地规则.

这个插件需要外部后端吗?

不需要. 线索数据通过 WordPress 数据库 API 保存在当前站点数据库中.

删除插件时会发生什么?

默认情况下, FormTrail Inbox 会保留线索表和设置, 避免误删尚未导出的线索数据. 如果希望删除插件时同时清理所有数据, 请先在设置页启用卸载清理选项.

当前版本优先支持 Contact Form 7.
