FloraSelector helps visitors find plants that match their garden, balcony or planter.

The Free edition includes:

FloraSelector is a complete standalone plugin and does not require a license.

FloraSelector Affiliate and FloraSelector Pro are separate commercial editions distributed outside WordPress.org. Premium code and the commercial licensing system are not included in this plugin.

External service

FloraSelector can download its standard Core plant images from:

This external asset service is used only when a WordPress administrator explicitly loads the Core image catalogue, verifies image links, or imports standard FloraSelector images from the plugin’s Repository screen.

The plugin requests only the public image files needed for the standard 73-plant Core catalogue. It does not send visitor profiles, plant-advisor answers, frontend postal codes, analytics data or commercial license information.

The images are copied into the site’s WordPress Media Library under wp-content/uploads/floraselector/core/.

Privacy

FloraSelector does not include analytics or user tracking.

Frontend plant-advisor input is processed by the plugin for the recommendation and is not sent to the FloraSelector Image Repository.

The only built-in external network functionality is the administrator-initiated standard image download and link check described above.

Commercial editions

An informational page in the FloraSelector administration menu explains the separately distributed Affiliate and Pro editions and links to FloraSelector.com. This information is shown only in the plugin administration area and does not add promotional links to the public website.

Source code

The JavaScript and CSS shipped in this plugin are the human-readable source files used directly by WordPress. They are not generated by npm, webpack, a minifier, or another build tool, and no build step is required. In particular, assets/app.js is the maintained source file itself.
