LD to Lifter copies selected LearnDash courses into new LifterLMS courses. It works in small batches (20 courses at a time) so larger sites are less likely to time out. Your existing LifterLMS content is not deleted.
You can also copy student enrollments, lesson progress, quiz attempt history (score/pass/dates), and earned course certificates. After migration, review the new courses in the LifterLMS course builder.
What gets migrated:
- Courses (title, content, excerpt, featured image, and mapped settings)
- Lessons, kept on the new LifterLMS course
- Topics, kept on that same course as extra lessons (LifterLMS has no topic type)
- Quizzes, kept on the same lesson or topic they had in LearnDash
- Quiz questions and answers
- Course, lesson, and quiz settings when LifterLMS has a matching option
- Course certificate templates (copied into LifterLMS certificate templates)
- Student enrollments for the migrated courses (optional)
- Lesson and topic completion progress for those students (optional)
- Quiz attempt history: score, pass/fail, and dates (optional)
- Earned course certificates for students who earned them in LearnDash (optional)
What is not migrated:
- Full quiz answer-by-answer attempt review (scores and dates are copied)
- Groups, assignments, essays, or forums
Key Features:
- Choose which courses to migrate, with Select All / Deselect All
- Optional student enrollment, progress, quiz attempts, and certificates
- Batch processing (20 courses per batch) to help avoid PHP timeouts
- Progress bar and activity log so you can see what happened
- Lessons, quizzes, and questions stay with the same course after the move
- Reset and try again if a run stops halfway

Caution:
Never run a migration directly on a live website. Always test the migration on a development or staging site first and take a complete backup before proceeding. Only migrate your live site once you have confirmed that the migration works correctly and reliably in your test environment.
