Use this lightweight WordPress plugin to add CHEQ Enforce to your website. The plugin will inject the CHEQ Enforce library script into your site’s <head> tag after configuring the domain, account, and path settings that can be found in your CHEQ Enforce account. Once installed and configured, CHEQ Enforce can serve a customized consent experience and automatically enforce your website visitor’s consent.

Configuration

In the WP Admin, open CHEQ Enforce in the sidebar.
Enter:
- Domain: e.g. nexus.ensighten.com
- Account: your CHEQ Enforce account name
- Publish Path: the path segment under your account
Under Consent Category Mapping, enter the matching consent category name from your CHEQ account beside each WP Consent API category. The five WP categories are fixed and cannot be edited; each one takes a single CHEQ category name. Names must match exactly, including capitalization. The same CHEQ category may be entered in more than one row, and its consent then applies to each — entering Analytics against both statistics and statistics-anonymous, for example. A row left blank is treated as not consented by plugins that read the WP Consent API.
Click Save Changes.

The Consent Category Mapping only affects plugins that read the WP Consent API, such as Google Site Kit. It does not change what CHEQ Enforce itself blocks.

The plugin will then output:
<script src="https://<domain>/<account>/<publish_path>/Bootstrap.js"></script>
at the very top of your site’s <head>.
