Chatifier AI – Voice & Text Assistant

Chatifier AI installs the Chatifier voice and text assistant on selected public WordPress pages. Create a trial account and chatbot in one click or connect an existing publishable widget key, choose display rules and appearance, and verify the installation without editing theme code.

The plugin itself does not run an AI model. Chatifier is an external hosted Software as a Service (SaaS). A Chatifier account and chatbot are required; the optional one-click setup can create both after explicit administrator consent. Available features and usage limits depend on the current Chatifier plan.

External service

The plugin contacts no external service merely because it is activated. An administrator must either provide a publishable widget key or explicitly choose one-click setup.

When an administrator submits one-click setup, the plugin sends the public site URL, site title, plugin version, configured privacy-policy URL, submitted administrator email, and a random short-lived challenge to https://api.chatifier.ai/wordpress/provision. Chatifier requests the challenge from this site’s public WordPress REST API to verify site control. It then creates a trial account and chatbot, starts importing public website content, returns a publishable widget key, and emails an invitation to the submitted address. No payment method is collected by this flow.

Once enabled, eligible public pages load the Chatifier widget from https://www.chatifier.ai/chat-widget.js. The visitor’s browser then contacts Chatifier when:

• The widget loads: the publishable key, current page path, site origin, platform/version, load timing, IP/network metadata normally present in an HTTP request, and widget interaction events may be transmitted.
• A visitor chats: their messages, a random conversation identifier stored in browser local storage, and contact details they choose to enter are sent to Chatifier.
• A visitor actively starts voice: microphone audio is sent to Chatifier for speech recognition and response generation. The browser asks for microphone permission first.

The hosted widget currently retrieves runtime libraries and icon styles from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net), Socket.IO’s CDN (cdn.socket.io), and cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com). It uses app.chatifier.ai for chat and voice connections and api.chatifier.ai for service analytics. These resources are part of delivering the configured Chatifier service; the WordPress plugin does not use them for unrelated advertising.
