CataSEO connects your WooCommerce store to the CataSEO cloud service, which writes
product descriptions and SEO meta for your catalog.

The plugin adds a CataSEO item to your WooCommerce menu showing connection status and
which SEO plugin it has detected. From there, a button opens the CataSEO dashboard in a
new tab. Optimization, billing and account management all happen there, at
https://app.cataseo.ai — the plugin’s job is to connect the two and to write approved
content back into your store.

Yoast, Rank Math and AIOSEO give you the fields. They don’t write what goes in them, and
on a catalog of any size the product fields are the ones that stay empty. That’s the gap
this fills.

You approve every change

CataSEO generates; you decide. Nothing is written to a product until you have seen the
before and the after side by side and approved it. Product descriptions can be edited
before you accept them, as rich text, as HTML, or previewed as they will appear — and if
an edit would strip markup your description already had, CataSEO holds it and tells you
what would have been removed rather than quietly dropping it.

The plugin detects which SEO plugin you have active and automatically writes content to
the right place. If you later install or switch SEO plugins, it adapts on the next admin
page load.

Built to enhance, not replace

CataSEO handles product and post content: descriptions, meta titles, meta descriptions,
Open Graph fields, focus keyphrases and product image alt text. Your SEO plugin keeps
handling sitemaps, schema.org markup, canonical URLs, redirects and content analysis. Run
both — they do different jobs, and they do them in the same fields.

Blog posts

CataSEO can draft blog posts from your own catalog — your products, categories and the
market it identified during setup — and publish them to your WordPress site. Each draft
is yours to edit before it goes anywhere.

It will also assess a post you already have: what is weak, what is already solid, and a
suggested replacement title, meta description or meta keywords that you can accept one at
a time. It never rewrites the body of your post, and a certification, compliance or
rating it cannot ground is dropped rather than suggested.

Finished a post? Send it to your own Buffer account and it joins the queue you already
have, to go out on the schedule you already set.

These are ordinary WordPress posts. You do not need a separate blogging plugin, and
anything CataSEO writes stays on your site if you remove this one.

A guided six-step setup that begins by reading your own catalog back to you — what you
sell, the market you are in, a suggested tone of voice, and the competitors it found.
Correct any of it before you continue.

External service: what this plugin sends, and where

This plugin is an interface to CataSEO, a paid cloud service operated by Studio 1119, Inc.
It does not work without an account, and all content generation happens on CataSEO’s
servers — no AI model runs inside WordPress.

Once you connect your store, the following is sent to https://app.cataseo.ai:

Product data: names, descriptions, categories, brands, image URLs, and the SEO meta
fields listed above.
Blog post content, for posts you ask CataSEO to write or assess: titles, bodies,
excerpts, tags and their meta fields.
Your site URL, WordPress and WooCommerce version numbers, which SEO plugin is active,
and your site’s administrator email address.
A notification when a product’s SEO fields change in WordPress, so the two stay in step.

No customer, order, payment or personal data from your store is ever transmitted. Nothing
is sent before you connect the store, and disconnecting stops it.

During setup you are subscribed to a monthly SEO report, emailed to you. You can
unsubscribe from the Analytics screen at any time.
