Amendio – Self-Service Order Changes for WooCommerce

Every “can I change my order?” email is a customer who would rather have done it themselves. Amendio adds a Change order button to the order confirmation page and to My Account, and lets the customer do it, within a window and a set of permissions you control.

What customers can do:

• Change size or option. Swap a line for another variation of the same product. Same price, nothing to pay; dearer, they pay the difference; cheaper, they get it back.
• Change quantity. Fewer units refunds the difference as a real WooCommerce refund. More units creates a balance order they pay on your normal checkout.
• Add to the order. Another option of something already on the order, shipped in the same box, with a pay link for the balance.
• Change the delivery address. Validated against your shipping zones. Optionally allowed after shipping, flagged for you to pass to the carrier.
• Cancel, with a reason. The customer says what went wrong before the order is cancelled. The refund goes back the way it came; manual gateways are flagged with the exact amount owed.

What you get: a dashboard of how many tickets the flow deflected, how many orders were cancelled and what the customers gave as the reason, so you can fix what is actually driving cancellations.

Every change is checked against the live order (stock, status, edit window, gateway) so nothing is offered that cannot actually be done, and every change is expressed in WooCommerce’s own money model: a paid order’s total is never edited, decreases are refunds with line items, increases are balance orders. Your reports, your gateway and your invoices agree.

No limits. Every feature works on every order, forever. There is no order quota, no trial and nothing switched off.

Works with the classic and block checkout, high-performance order storage (HPOS), guest orders, and any payment gateway that supports refunds through WooCommerce.

Runs on your site. Orders never leave your server.

A separate commercial plugin, Amendio Premium, answers a cancellation with a counter-offer, adds product recommendations to the add-to-order screen, intercepts WooCommerce Subscriptions cancellations, and adds appearance controls. It is not part of this plugin and nothing here depends on it.
