Altrix Merchant Feed Readiness for WooCommerce helps store administrators review core product data commonly needed by shopping feeds without automatically editing WooCommerce products.

The Free Edition reviews published parent products for:

  • Missing product title – blocking issue
  • Missing description – blocking issue
  • Missing effective price – blocking issue
  • Missing featured image – blocking issue
  • Title longer than 150 characters – blocking issue
  • Description longer than 5,000 characters – blocking issue
  • Missing SKU – warning (a feed tool may use another stable product ID)
  • Short-description-only fallback – warning

It also includes:

  • Sequential AJAX batch scanning
  • One automatic retry after a temporary batch failure
  • 30-second request timeout
  • Product-catalog consistency guard during a scan
  • Search by product, SKU, type, or ID
  • Status and issue filters
  • Browser-side result pagination
  • WooCommerce HPOS compatibility declaration
  • WordPress, WooCommerce, and PHP compatibility information

The scanner is read-only. It does not automatically modify products, create custom database tables, or send store data to Altrix Web or another external service.

This plugin provides readiness indicators only. Merchant Center acceptance can depend on your feed plugin or API mapping, product category, target country, account settings, landing pages, and policy changes.

A separate commercial Pro edition from Altrix Web adds variation-level feed items, configurable Brand/GTIN/MPN mapping, GTIN validation, image-dimension checks, sale-price checks, stock/backorder warnings, and CSV exports. The Pro code is not included or locked inside this Free plugin.

Source Code

The complete human-readable source code is included in this plugin package. The PHP, JavaScript, and CSS files are used directly as distributed; there is no transpilation, bundling, minification, or external build step required to produce the plugin.

Privacy

The plugin reads WooCommerce product data needed for the readiness report. It does not create custom database tables, transmit store data to Altrix Web, or persist completed scan results after the current browser page is reloaded.
