Is the plugin completely free?

Do I need an API key?

No. The AI Readiness Score, the meta description generator and the expert profile all work without an API key. The AI topic analysis runs through the WP Rankify server.

What is the AI Readiness Score?

The AI Readiness Score shows, on a scale of 0 to 100, how well your article is set up for AI-driven search such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. It’s based on four weighted categories: content quality, E-E-A-T signals, technical SEO and structured data.

What is E-E-A-T?

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness — the four factors Google uses to judge whether an author and a website can be trusted. WP Rankify checks whether your site is sending these signals correctly.

How is this different from Yoast SEO?

Yoast measures keyword density and readability. WP Rankify measures E-E-A-T signals, author authority, missing topics and AI readiness — the things that have actually driven rankings since the Helpful Content Update.

Does the plugin change my frontend design?

No. It only adds structured data inside the <head> — no visible changes to your layout.

How does the AI topic analysis work?

Your article text is sent to the WP Rankify server, analyzed by an AI, and the results are sent back to you. No content is stored permanently.

Is the plugin GDPR-compliant?

Anonymous usage statistics are sent (site URL, PHP version, average scores — no content, no email addresses). This can be disabled on first launch.

The AI Visits feature stores no IP addresses and sets no cookies. For AI crawlers it stores the bot name, page and time; for visitors coming from an AI chat only the source (e.g. “ChatGPT”), landing page and time. Regular visitors are never recorded. Entries are deleted automatically after 90 days (adjustable).

Why don’t I see every AI visit?

If a page is delivered from a page cache (e.g. WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, Cloudflare APO), WordPress doesn’t run and the visit can’t be counted. Also check whether your host or Cloudflare blocks AI crawlers — blocked bots never reach your site.

Can I use this plugin on client websites?

Yes. The Agency plan covers unlimited domains.
