8vision Taxi Booking Chat adds a responsive booking form to any WordPress page with a shortcode. Visitors enter their pickup, destination, name, passenger count, and optional ferry or flight details. The plugin then prepares a concise WhatsApp message with map links for both locations.

The plugin is designed for taxi companies, private transfer services, chauffeurs, minivan operators, and airport or port transfer providers. It does not require WooCommerce or a separate booking platform.

When a visitor submits the form, the browser opens wa.me with the booking message encoded in the URL. The request is then handled by WhatsApp. This service is necessary for sending a booking through WhatsApp.

Google Maps Platform

Google Maps JavaScript API and Places API are optional and disabled by default. When an administrator enables autocomplete and supplies an API key, the plugin loads Google’s Maps JavaScript library. Text entered in the pickup and dropoff fields may be sent to Google to return location suggestions and place details.

Privacy

The plugin does not store form submissions or add analytics. Booking information is placed in a WhatsApp URL in the visitor’s browser. If Google Places is enabled, location searches are sent to Google. Site owners should describe enabled external services in their privacy notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law.
