External Services

This plugin connects to the Dropshipzone API, a third-party supplier service operated by Dropshipzone Pty Ltd, to retrieve product data, pricing, stock levels and shipping rates, and to submit orders for fulfilment. The plugin does not function without a Dropshipzone account.

Data is sent to https://api.dropshipzone.com.au in the following situations:

Authentication – your Dropshipzone account email and password are sent to obtain an access token. This happens when you save or test your credentials, and whenever the token expires.
Product, price and stock sync – product SKUs stored in your site are sent so the service can return current cost, stock quantity and product details.
Product import – search keywords, category IDs and filter selections you enter are sent to retrieve matching catalogue products.
Shipping rate calculation – at checkout, the customer’s destination postcode and the SKUs in their cart are sent to retrieve applicable shipping rates. This occurs only when the Dropshipzone shipping method is enabled for a shipping zone.
Order fulfilment – when you submit an order (manually, in bulk, or automatically if enabled), the customer’s name, shipping address, phone number, order notes and ordered SKUs are sent so Dropshipzone can ship the goods.
Tracking updates – Dropshipzone order reference numbers are sent to retrieve tracking numbers and order status.
